Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of Tradee.

1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Tradee, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. What Tradee is
Tradee is software for designing and backtesting strategies, paper execution, and Live API outputs. In output mode Tradee maintains Modeled positions and provides a token-scoped generated SSE/REST feed. Tradee is not an exchange, broker, custodian, financial advisor, or exchange executor, and is not affiliated with any exchange. We do not store user exchange credentials, submit orders, receive fills, or take custody of funds.
3. Your account
You are responsible for accurate registration information and for securing your login, generated feed URL, receiver, and any credentials held in your own systems. You are responsible for activity under your account and receiver. Notify us promptly at support@tradee.bot if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Tradee is offered on a paid subscription basis. Payments are processed by our payment provider, creem.io, which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, applicable taxes, and your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
- Except where required by applicable law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial periods.
- We may change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes apply to the next billing period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, including unlawful use, disruption, unauthorised access, reverse engineering, or using outputs in violation of applicable law or a downstream venue's rules. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
6. API outputs, receivers, and third parties
A developer-operated receiver is required for Live API outputs. You are solely responsible for receiver availability, feed-token secrecy, durable deduplication, expiry and revision handling, downstream eligibility, exchange credentials, order policy, reconciliation, fees, partial fills, rejection, slippage, downtime, and compliance with every applicable venue rule and law.
7. Trading risk and no financial advice
Trading carries significant risk, and automated strategies can lose money. Tradee provides tools, not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to trade. Reference prices, delivery status, and Modeled positions are not exchange truth and do not prove that an order was submitted, accepted, or filled. Tradee receives no fill confirmation. You are solely responsible for strategy parameters and downstream actions. Past performance and backtests do not guarantee future results.
8. Service availability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tradee shall not be liable for trading losses or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from platform use, including receiver behaviour, feed delay or duplication, model divergence, exchange behaviour, downtime, or strategy outcomes. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tradee harmless from claims arising out of your use of the platform, your strategies and trades, or your breach of these terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using Tradee and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or where necessary to protect the platform or comply with the law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your country of residence.
