Learn · Step 7

Execute in a paper pool with adaptive budget

Fund the bot through a paper pool, enable adaptive budget, and watch Modeled positions on Execution.

Do this

  1. Open Execution.
  2. Create a funding pool with a fixed modeled capital envelope.
  3. Enable adaptive budget so the modeled slice can include realized modeled PnL since the baseline. This still never reads an exchange wallet.
  4. Start your bot in paper mode as a pool member (not standalone) so it receives a weighted slice of the pool.
  5. Expand the execution row and confirm Modeled positions update as signals fire.

What success looks like

  • The execution is running under paper mode.
  • Funding shows a pool allocation rather than only a standalone budget.
  • Open state is labeled Modeled positions.

When you are ready for Live API outputs

Upgrade if needed, start an API-output execution, generate feed URLs under Settings → Connections, and follow API v1. Keep treating Modeled positions as signals for your receiver, not as exchange truth.
